I was wondering why more people dont use the forum to exchange their ideas.
I will exchange one of my ideas. In the longer term I am bullish on the Euro it has just finished its downleg and over the coming months it will climb to over 90c. I have read at least another currency report with the same views as me.
I live in Australia too and the dollar should start to do better along with the euro. Watch out for the election which is likely in the next 6 months. The ruling party will deffinately be kicked out in a total landslide. Labour will get in which will be seen as negative for the Australian dollar.
My favourite currency to trade is the Aussie. I suppose living in Australia I have a better feel for it.
So common people discuss your ideas or trading stratergys so we can all discuss about what the best way to go is. I am going great guns at the moment, averaging about 20% on my money per week for the past 5 weeks. I have one comp. account and also a trial account. I find that I can try different stratergys like this. |

Ben you are right about sharing ideas - I too am from Australia and find our currency very interesting.
Generally I play the JPY in the demo as it is the most active and if I could just stop crashing every week would love to try the real thing. |

| I was not happy last week on the last day of the trial I was up 90% and then I bought 60 units of Eur/Jpy at 107.25 and had a target of 108.45 guess what they hit 108.42. 120 points of Eur/Jpy is worth $100 per contract, that is $6000 and what should have been my win. I went out for the night and could sell on the way back down. That is the thing with currency trading easy come easy go. That has happened to me so many times yet I still make money nearly every week. |

| I am hoping to play for real soon as I had done with American Money Garden but am going to go a little easier this time as i tended to play to much like a demo (which i had been playing for two years with them) and took too many chances. I bought into the Euro when it first came in and took it to go up - very silly move to take such a chance on a new currency eh |

| I cant believe it at the moment I am with money garden to and did a similar thing to what you are talking about except I did it with the yen. I hope I will never do something that silly again. I love the way that you can trade smaller lots with the Euroclub. I am thinking of setting up a small account soon. I started a non-comp demo and am sick of making 25-30% every week. I have tested it for enough. I think I will go live soon. |
